Web Site and Phone Orders

We at Roadworthy Guitar and Amp want you to be happy with the purchases you make from us. That’s why we provide a no hassle 24 hour approval period with every guitar or bass purchased through our web site or via the phone. What this means is that you have 24 hours from the receipt of any guitar or bass you purchase from us to contact us via email or phone to tell us you're sending it back. We will issue a full refund via check minus shipping costs once the guitar or bass arrives back at our shop and we determine that it is in the condition it was in when it left the shop. You pay for the shipping back to us, with the instrument insured at full value. This excludes consignment and other "as is" items. Refunds must be accompanied by receipt.

Shipping Details:

At Roadworthy Guitar and Amp, we make every effort to insure that the guitar or bass you purchase from us is packed as safely as possible. We use custom designed boxes, and high quality packing materials are used to cushion your guitar against any mishaps. Instruments sold with gig bags are double boxed. We also insure all shipments at the full value of the instrument. However, accidents do happen. If the instrument is damaged during transit, we will provide you with any necessary paperwork; however, all claims against the shipping company are your responsibility. Shipping prices for an average size guitar to most areas of the continental US increased across the board at the start of 2004. We are currently researching ways to make our shipping and handling charges affordable to you. In the meantime, please call or email us with your postal code and we will give you a rate quote via our default carrier, FedEx, or the carrier of your choice. If you are ordering a bass guitar or an oversized guitar, please contact us for rate quotes and further information. For international shipments, a $15 handling charge will be added to the actual cost of shipping. Please contact us for further details and rate quotes. We ship FedEx ground within 48 hours of receipt of payment, unless you request another carrier. To insure against theft, all instruments are shipped with adult signature required. We will provide you with the tracking number of the package so you can make any delivery arrangements you need to with the shipper.
